Get Involved Community Engagement Award
Sponsored by 49ers Hall of Fame Quarterback Steve Young and HGGC Capital Impact.
The Get Involved Community Engagement Award recognizes high school students for meaningful service work and dedication to improve their communities. Students who have completed at least 50 verified hours of service between high school admission and graduation (4 academic years) are eligible to earn the award.
Please Note: 1.) Number of required hours has been changed, for applicants after 10/25/26.
2.) Though worthy of commendation, week-long humanitarian “paid” trips do not qualify for this award.

Current high school students in the U.S.A. are eligible for the award.
Requirement: 50 hours of verified community service, 1-2 page reflection with at least 1 photo of your project or activity.
Apply today to receive a certificate and pin, boost your resume and meet with fellow award recipients and a dignitary to congratulate you on your accomplishment.
