Signature Ongoing Projects

Currently, students are working towards bettering their community through a variety of projects. Here's a list of what some of them are working on right now.

  • Human Anatomy for YouthTeaching younger generations about the facets of human anatomy

  • End Homelessness: work with mentors from Stanford to convene and support organizations and further the work of policymakers

    • Work on End Homelessness website

    • Research: Administer surveys and researching potential solutions

    • Data: with Stanford University Mentors

  • Mental Health & Wellness, Addiction Prevention for Teens

  • Senior Inclusion: Outreach to provide resources that connect seniors to the community and to each other. 

  • Equity in Education: Work to close the achievement gap by providing enrichment and scaffolding in the classroom and after school. ex: Human Anatomy for Youth, Coding for Game Design. Math Enrichment, Reading Camp. 

  • Financial Literacy for Underserved Populations: Teaching principles of sound financial stewardship to low-income, homeless, and underserved communities, with curriculum from Ramsey Education Foundation

  • The Arts: After school curriculum and teaching in historically underrepresented communities. 

  • Tech Resources for Nonprofits: Expand on your skill set to promote the mission of a community benefit organization. 

  • Tech and STEM Careers: Exposure to tech career professionals  and hands-on experience for first-generation college and historically underrepresented minorities. 

    • Jobs of Tomorrow‚Äč: "career education program for middle school students from underserved school districts with a specific focus on (STEM)"

  • School Safety: Violence prevention and inclusion, with curriculum from Sandy Hook Promise and Start with Hello Week. 

  • Health and Wellness with Lucille Packard Foundation for Children's Health
